We hope you are well and safe and we look forward to seeing you soon. Though DC began Phase 1 reopening on May 29th, we wanted to take extra time to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and their families. We ask that you please read this email in its entirety before your appointment so that you are aware of what to expect when visiting us. 

If you have not done so already, we encourage you to visit our website and join the waiting list. We will only be booking appointments for 3 weeks out at this time. Per DC regulations, we must maintain a max of 1 to 1 client – stylist ratio, so our overall capacity will be lower. We are also adding additional time between appointments to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. Please know that we are working our way through the waiting list as quickly as possible, and we are grateful for your patience in scheduling your appointment. 

If you are interested in purchasing a customized at-home color kit to apply to your roots, please contact us at georgesalonat4s@gmail.com and we will arrange this for you in the meantime. No-contact pickup will be available for color kits, as well as styling products and tools. 

Some changes you will notice when you return to the salon are…

  • We ask that you come alone, no additional guests are allowed.

  • Clients are required to wear a mask for the entirety of the appointment.

  • Due to OSHA regulations, we cannot perform blow drys until further notice. Waiting area chairs, tables, and magazines have been removed.

  • There will be no changing room available. If possible, please avoid bringing jackets, extra layers, hats, large bags, etc. 

  • No outside food and drink allowed, and we will not serve any beverages in the salon.

  • Temperature will be checked when you enter the salon.

  • We will not be offering any childrens haircuts at this time.

  • Sanitizer will be readily available throughout the salon

We ask you to be prompt for your appointment but please remain outside in your vehicle. We are not able to have any guests waiting inside the salon. You will receive a phone call when we are ready for you to enter for your appointment. Again, please be on time for your appointment. If you are late, we will not be able to accommodate you due to the strict capacity rules.

If you or anyone in your home is not feeling well (coughing, sneezing, fever or any cold- or flu-like symptoms) please reschedule immediately. 

If any of the following applies to you, we also ask you to refrain from coming to the salon:

  • You have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19.

  • You have traveled outside the DMV for the previous 2 weeks.

  • You are a higher-risk individual.

Before you come to your appointment…

  • Take your temperature and ensure it is below 100 F

  • Avoid taking public transportation to the salon if at all possible.

  • Again, please come alone. Do not bring anyone with you - no friends, family, or children will be allowed.

  • Wear a mask or face covering. Our staff will also be wearing masks. (We will provide a temporary mask if your appointment includes coloring services, to avoid stains or damage to your mask.)

Your appointment requires us to be in close proximity. Please help us with these requests as they are for your own safety as well as our safety and that of other clients. Even though we will provide a mask for color services... if you do not arrive wearing a mask or face covering, we cannot provide your service.

Valet parking will still be available at the Four Seasons Hotel. When getting out of your vehicle you can either:

  • Walk through the courtyard of the hotel (please note the hotel will also do a temperature check) 

  • Walk down Pennsylvania Ave to 29th street and take the stairs up to the entrance of the salon

During this time, the salon has updated our booking software. You will begin to see confirmation texts and/or emails.

We also recommend ensuring that your credit card company has sent you an updated card that enables the no-contact tap option to eliminate touching the credit card machine.

Our staff greatly appreciates your gratuities. We recommend downloading the Venmo app on your phone, as its a secure and no-contact way of transferring money. The front desk can provide the Venmo account name for your stylist if needed.
